Study Material

We provide relevant study material based on latest curriculum to give in-depth understanding of the topics. Our study material covers theory with examples and topic wise practice questions. Our study material is concept oriented and easy to understand. Apart from theory our study material contains examples and illustrations to strengthen the concepts; Practice questions of various types are included in the study material.

The study material adhere to the latest syllabus set by the NCERT, going beyond by incorporating those topics which will assist the students to get first-hand experience of current trend of competitiveness at national level.

Study notes prepared by tutors are provided for URDU, ENGLISH and SOCIAL SCIENCE for foundation classes, containing summaries of lessons, responses to in-text and end of lessons questions. Updated and concise Study notes help students while preparing for School/Boards exams.

Assessments

At ISS Kashmir, we ensure regular and effective assessments to guide student progress and exam readiness. Our examination system includes:

Monthly Assessments: Scheduled on the 4th Saturday of each month, these assessments consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the syllabus covered. Students answer on OMR sheets, which help familiarize them with standardized testing formats. The syllabus for each assessment will be provided in advance for focused preparation.

Comprehensive Pattern Tests (CPTs): These tests are conducted on the last Saturday after every two-month cycle (following two monthly assessments). Designed to simulate board, school, and descriptive exams, the CPTs assess students' understanding through a variety of question formats. The syllabus will be shared beforehand to ensure thorough preparation.

Our assessment system provides students with regular feedback and prepares them for both descriptive and standardized examinations, enhancing their confidence and readiness for academic success.

Performance Improvement measures

For underperforming students on the identified parameters, parent teacher meeting is held with the academic head to discuss the issue and to take the remedial action in such cases.
